I have deep respect for people and a passion for history, and bring a wonderful blend of experience and character to meet your needs. My college degree is in English. I have always been a highly skilled writer, both on my own and working as a journalist. I've written countless in-depth personal profile feature articles in my seven years of newspaper and magazine writing.

My other experience includes five years of speech writing and other assignments for executives at a major health care company, and most recently, ten years working in higher education to assist college alumni in estate planning and charitable giving.

I know how to interview and put people at ease while paying serious attention to the heart of the subject matter. And I well understand the importance of discretion, knowing sometimes there are limits of disclosure. You are the final editor and arbiter of what is revealed in your history.

Every personal history is unique. Every life holds a wealth of meaning. I've learned this and so much more from simply delving into my own family history.
